Registration

a one-day seminar offered by Bucks Beekeepers

Registration includes lunch and other light refreshments throughout the day.

Every year thousands of beekeepers loose many or most of their honey bee colonies during the late fall and winter.  For the past several years the average annual colony loss in Pennsylvania has been about 40%.

Don’t bee one of them and let your honey bees die this winter!

You can prevent most winter colony losses by doing the necessary and timely preparations and management practices taught by master beekeeper Dr. Vincent Aloyo and Mark Antunes.  With almost 80 years of combined experience, you are bound to learn something new.

Please join them for a fun and fact filled day of learning and live demonstrations at this special BCBA seminar;

How To Prepare For Fall, Survive The Winter, And Have Strong Colonies In The Spring.

Short Agenda

  • Basics: honey bees do not hibernate
  • Lots of young bees
  • Winter bees (bees born late in the season)
  • Fall Management
  • Winter management
  • Live demonstrations
  • Management for strong spring colonies
