Swarm in Hollow Tree

    Hi,

I received an inquiry that a swarm apparently moved into a tree trunk that is partially hollow.  The tree is adjacent ()5-10) feet from an entrance to a barn.  My question:  Is there a way to entice the bees to leave this new home?

Trap them out or you can use Fisher Bee Quick

If you have a rear entrance for the fumes it may work - hopefully you can get the queen out if not wasted effort.

One entrance= this can be tricky to get them out.

    see: https://www.honeybeesuite.com/what-is-a-trap-out/

At the end of the day you need ask yourself if the view is worth the climb.

My suggesting is to leave them bee.

    Hey Kurt,

I think leaving them be is the correct approach.  I was asking in case the owners needed them out.

    Thanks!
