I've recently moved onto an older farm property and have some honey bees (I believe) living in my patio ceiling thats got a perfect little trap-out-able hole entrance. I'd love to set up a trap-out with a hive box I can transition to a larger hive setup in my backyard. I've done some very amateur research and I'm wondering if there's anyone I could link up with this summer for some Beekeeping knowledge sharing and guidance on an initial setup of gear, hive, good supporting flowers to plant and the logistics of the trap-out. I've got big bee ambition, a great deal of patience and I'd love to see if there's a world where I could hire a bee-tutor of sorts to help onboard me into this new world and find a long-term home for these bees.
I'll definitely plan to sign up for the next round of keepers-classes too.
